FA: 1-Day, WWII Japanese War Magazine, c. 40s
WWII Japanese War Magazine, c. 40s
1-Day Left on Ebay........ This WWII Japanese War Magazine was published during the early part of the war. It is in fair/good condition. It is titled, (The Pictorial World), and is volume 14, June, No. 6 and published by the Kokusai Joho Sha publishers, Tokyo, Japan (I do not know the year). The magazine is all in Japanese. This magazine appears to be like the U.S. Life magazines having news-stories and pictures of Japanese military life, civilian life and world affairs (including the US and Germany). There are pictures of German and Japanese Generals. The condition is fair to good and measures 9 inches x 12 inches and about 40 pages. There are no loose or missing pages, but the magazine has water damage in the upper corner (with some pages in this area with small tears). There are no large tears to any pages. For anyone who can read Japanese, this would be a great reference for any historian from the viewpoint of the Japanese during the war.
