You need the CDM12PRO upgrade kit...there are few if any good CDM3's
left in existence, although we have had some success with reviving them. Have you tried cleaning the lens on the player? Also these players will NOT work with CDR (home made CDs), only commercial ones. John :-#)# www.flippers.com On 21 May 2004 04:31:59 -0700, (johnk) wrote: Hi I have a carnegie to repair . The later CDM 12 are better I believe Also - is there actually a CDM 12 update kit available for the wurlitzers ? Ther is for ROWE but I have no idea of other brands John :-#)# www.flippers.com On 21 May 2004 04:31:59 -0700, (johnk) wrote: Hi I have a carnegie to repair . CDM3 appears to be Faulty. The CDM-3 really can't play the CD-R's, as well as the CDM-4I/S or
CDM12. Only with the later CDM-PROs could the CD-R be played reliably. And (Deutsche) Wurlitzer does make a kit for the PRO to upgrade their machines.
