Bill to bill changer

Someone is gambling that the $1 bills still have a future.

It says NOTHING about $1 bills.

It does mention coins.

Probably will be used to break $20 and larger into $10 or $5 and lots
of dollar coins. Perfect for vending, amusement, transit, laundry, etc.

Sorry about that, I guess it doesn't mention $1
bills. I read it wrong.

I did go to the links which led to their company website, but no PDF of
the service manual is posted (yet). That would answer any questions, as
would a decent pisture of the face of the machines. The images posted
are too small and grainy to make out.

If you click on the link in the article, you'll find the "bill
breaker" models it mentions do break larger bills into smaller bills.

The larger image pictured there only has a bill dump and no coin
hopper.

Put in a twenty, get back 3 fives and 5 ones.

Put in a ten, get back 1 five and 5 ones.

Put in a five, get back 5 ones.
