At least it wasn't a key date wheatie
 
One of the three cents I found metal detecting the house across the
street from me. The other two were run over by the train pretty good
so no idea on the mint dates. The wheatie had the date get imprinted
on the obverse LOL. 1952-S.

Considering I found three scattered cents run over by a train the rug
rats must have done quite a few of them "back in the day".

in the city, i have always found lots of cents under the lines of windows.
just dig strait below and there are pennies. got about 30 indian heads from
one location. none were in great condition but i could id all but one.
also had luck under the line of clothslines.
