SEEBURG HF100R

Hello, I'm restoring a Seeburg HF100R.
At the moment what I'm doing is finishing the amplifier (MRA5-L6).
It has completely rebuilt but I still have the output transformer to be replaced.
I see verntisdale.com sells them but for a really high price.
Local specialist could rewire the transformer for much less and I would still have an original transofrmer instead of a reproduction.

The question is: has anybody rewired one of this transofrmers? If yes, does it work well?
And more important, does anybody have the exact transofrmer characteristics needed to create one?

It would be of great help!

How did you determine that the output transformer is bad?

For what I remember it has bad sound and gets really hot.
It has been verified by a specialist, not by me.
He just assured me that the only bad part now is the transformer.
