"Extra Fine" he says, "very very rare" he says.

Neither is true.

At least it's not been ironed. Billy

Light creasing? More like crumpled in hand.

Hello,

I am quite new to money collecting so this may appear to be a stupid
question. I take it from your comment that ironing money is not a good
thing. I haven't ironed any of my collection, but should I not? Does
it damage the bills?

Thanks for the help.

Anyone who irons a note deserves to be shot, yes really. It's just as bad
as polishing a coin.

Not only does it destroy the value it ruins the note for future collectors.

It's better to have a genuine untouched VF+ note than an ironed unc.

A collection consisting of artificially flat notes would be very boring to
look at, I like wrinkles on an old note, and I don't mind a bit of dirt
either, or the odd scribble here and there.

What's wrong with an old note looking old? Billy
