The public outcry will not allow it to happen, however it will become
much less used, and thus more costly than one ever dreamed.

Too many seniors get their medications, etc. through the PO. Something
akin to a postal system -=will=- survive.

I hope the same, and eventually they will still print some stamps (less
being better).

Package services will survive. If USPS goes down, maybe one of them will
be allowed to stick things in roadside post boxes directly instead of
having the postman do it.

I hope the same, and eventually they will still print some stamps (less
being better).
