£1,000,000 note.
 
Lot 184 in Spink's auction of 1 October 2008 is a one million pound note,
the estimate is £35,000 to £40,000 but before you rush off to place a bid it
was cancelled on 6 October 1948. Billy

Which only cost me less than NZ$Ten-Bucks.
