The amp has long volume and I am thinking it is the output transformer. How
does one test to verify it is a faulty transformer?
Low volume existed before the amp was capped. So I don't think it is due to
caps.

When the amp was recapped, were _all_ the capacitors replaced
including the twist prong cans and axial electrolytics? An open
electrolytic in the cathode circuit of the preamp section will cause
much lower volume.

If you pull out the automatic volume control tube does the sound get
much louder?

Many times the resistors in these old amplifiers will drift way off
value and need to be replaced. Have all the resistors been checked for
value?

Along with the capacitor stuff just mentioned . It could be the
cartridge . If its been changed it may not match the amp .

It could be the speaker field coil...might be open......GC

All caps replaced and resistors checked. I checked the amp in a working
jukebox and it had low volume whereas the amp in the juke worked properly.
This rules out cartridge and mute contacts. Volume control was also
replaced. The really weird thing is that the voltages check out OK based on
the Seeburg schematic.

Try replacing the 5U4 tube if the amp has one.

Have you tried shutting off the jukebox internal speaker and
connecting an external speaker?

Tried swapping speakers from a known working juke?

Tried different speakers...I tried the amp a working juke.

Then it could only be a miswired part during the rebuild or 2 wires
touching or a wrong resistor installed by mistake .

Did you rebuild the amp ?
