Tracking down a pen manufacturer
hello!
I was wondering if anyone can be of assistance. While in Italy this past summer I purchased a pen from a small shop. I would like to track down another one like it, but can find any info on it. It is a fountain cartridge pen with a Schmidt Iridium Point. The shaft of the pen is woodgrain, into which engraved in the side is the name GRAPHI? . The ends of this pen are sliver metallic. Does anyone know of such a pen, or where I can get another? I can attach a picture, if it is allowed in this group. Thanks in advance! |

OK, I will post in the a.b.p-p group. I just wanted to make sure where to
put it before I posted it. "mz" wrote in message ... Matt wrote... snip I can attach a picture, if it is allowed in this group. Thanks in advance! Please don't. I am wondering if it could be a Vallecchi? (also known as Vallecchi
Publishing House) They are a high quality pen unknown in the US market and are sold by specialist pen shops in Italy, although their pens usually have the name emblazoned on the clip. Where did you buy it? Can you e-mail them for more, or to (e.g.) which is Casa Della Stylografica in Florence Licensed to Quill "Matt" wrote in message ... hello! Post the URL: I may be able to help if I can see the pen.
Giovanni "Matt" wrote in message ... There is no name on the clip at all. I have posted pictures of the pens at alt.collecting.pens-pencils. I bought it in a shop in Rome this last July. If you cant access that group, I think I can link the picture in here as URLs. |
These pens appear very similar to the Spaldling Bros wood pens. See them here
at this website: http://www.spaldingpens.com/wfountainpen.html The pens are made for Spalding by the Raymay Fujii Corporation of Japan. I purchased the all aluminum fountain pen a few months back. It is well made and writes very well also. Alas, they only come with medium nibs and are cartridge fill only. Ron Pasciuti |
