agendas by
Barutan Seijin
Had the first snow of the year today. Among other things, this means
that I'll soon have appointments in the new year.
Does any one have suggestions on agendas? I was looking around today.
Clairfontaine has a student agenda that is decent and reasonable
priced. I'm not crazy about their paper,...

When Handwritings Collide by
Juan
I was surfing moleskinerie and notebookism and I found this scan of
Leonard Cohen's notebook:
http://www.webheights.net/10newsongs/alex.htm
I noticed his handwriting is somewhat similar to mine. My round strokes
are more oval than Mr Cohen's, and I write in a more straight line, but
there're...

Neill Currie
Does anyone know of a decent ballpoint or rollerball refill that will fit
into a Lamy "Scribble" pencil.......obviously replacing the lead, which I
believe is 2.3mm diameter or so.

kenickie
I have an Esterbrook J that I have never used; bought years ago and
decided now to give to a friend for her birthday. But, it needs a new

which I can purchase? Thanks so much in advance!

S Morgan pencil holders by
Ian
I recently picked up a S Morgan pencil holder which takes a regular
pencil with a screw thread.
Anybody got an idea on how I can put such a thread on a regular pencil?
is there a specific tool out there?

manufacturers my Mont Blanc and perhaps one of my Sheaffer's and not

Air in The Converter by
AndyH
Whenever I refill my Waterman Hemisphere I end up with small air
bubbles in the ink converter. I wash and thoroughly dry the pen
between fills so I would expect air to be in the ink chamber. I dunk
the nib deep into the ink bottle and draw up the ink slowly by turning
the converter knob. I would...

Hello all -- I have for sale a Monteverde Mega Ink Ball, nearly new

extra tips. This is the black color oversize model that fills like a
fountain pen (with converter and bottled ink or international size

A person, mistakenly think that she's in his friend list. However,
rather than denying it, she'll simply give a friendly reply.

I bought a pen last year that I find particularly unpleasant to write

it, perhaps its not supposed to be a particularly good pen? Who...

EDINBURGH, Scotland (AP) - In this age of cell phones, text messages and
computer keyboards, one Scottish school has returned to basics. It's
teaching youngsters the neglected art of writing with a fountain pen.

Wide and wet by
Colin B.
Recently I picked up a new Sheaffer Javelin (on sale for $19 cdn!), with
a medium nib. Love the pen, love the feel, love the writing. It's a bit
wider than I would probably choose, given that I have small writing, but
it's really lovely.
However, it writes wet. Writing light and fast still tends...
