UK Coin Pictures by
Tony Clayton[_2_]
A considerable number of new images have been added to
http://www.ukcoinpics.co.uk
during the last few days.
There are now well over 700 coin images to be found,
some of coins of the highest rarity, and certainly
many of very high grade.

Fate of Paper Money by
oly
This is very good, though I might quibble with some of his dating
(like on the "Mexican Silver Peso" expiring in 1992)...

I am throwing this up as a historical reference ONLY...

Random question by
Andy[_3_]
Here's a bit of a 'random' question that I was just wondering about:
When you display your coins in the albums, do you have all coins facing the
same way (ie the obverse or the reverse always facing up)? Or do you
alternate them so that you don't have to look at the other side of the page
in...

Howdy, folks!
Many of you likely haven't missed me at all, but I thought I'd drop by and
share a word of greeting to all of my coin buddies. I hope that all is
going well for all of you and your families.
We are in a very bad drought here. So much so that it is rumored that the
Baptists have...

How cute he is!!! How cute!!! by
oly
Between 6 PM on Friday and 6 PM on Saturday, you won't hear from a
certain somebody - he's busy praying to his ancestors about how very
cute he is to sell the "honkeys" a bronze penny (less than one hundred
years old, minatage of 1/2 million examples or more) for thousands...

Well, how 'bout that?! by
Amistad
Having been absent from the group for a good while, I spent some time this
morning looking at some of the threads that are currently in view. As
concerning the content of the group, I see some themes emerging from my
perusal:

FS: Prices Lowered on all "Ebay Store" items by
LRC-Tom
I've had some things languishing for a while in my Ebay Store. I did
expect them to sell before now...maybe it's the economy? Anyway, I
just lowered the Buy-it-Now price on each of them, to add a little
incentive.
Nice coins too: a couple of nicely toned commems, 1885 and 1914-D
Nickels, two...

(Not so) great grading on eBay by
Phil[_3_]
This item is graded as EF+/AU. The coin is a filler due to the massive rim
damage and, even, absent the damage would not grade anywhere near EF. Nice
to know sales are final though
