FA: 1921 Peace Dollar PCGS MS64 by PC[_7_]
There is a noticable spot on the reverse so no bold claims about cracking this out for an upgrade. It may be just a whisper away from deserving a CAC sticker. Or not. ;-) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190239597740 Thanks for looking and if you happen to be the...

Gold could rally to $1,200 on bullish options trades by Arizona Coin Collector
Hello On the story below. To me, the only way gold prices will reach $1200.00 per troy oz if Israel does bomb Iran Nuclear sites. They did do this with Iraq back in the 1980's. If this is done, they would have to fly over Iraq witch is under U.S. Airspace control at this time.

What is ".999 Silver Leaf"? by Captain Infinity
There's an ad running on TV for a Liberian $20 issue (cashing in on the 9-11 tragedy) that's made of ".999 Silver leaf". What the heck is that? ** Captain Infinity

Coins on TV Shows by Nick Knight
Some new shows that I watch have started the last week or 2, but before that I had to settle for Tivo'd reruns when I had time to watch. And I don't really watch "much", but I do catch certain reruns on occassion. Two relatively recent shows (well, this may not actually be the case with my DVR's...

high denomination/hyperinflation coins? by Jon Purkey
It seems several countries have printed high denomination banknotes during periods of hyperinflation, but they really don't interest me that much, even when the note is for billions. However, I recently purchased some 1,000,000 (1 million) Lira Turkish coins and I am now curious as to whether...

Coin In Movie Trivia by Coffee's For Closers
If you see the new Batman movie "The Dark Knight," watch closely when the character Harvey Dent makes decisions. He likes to flip a coin. It is a 1922 Peace Dollar. He initially claims to be leaving things to chance, but is actually cheating. Later, he has some personal trauma, which also...

Yet Another $1 Bill Redesign Rumor... by [email protected]
I do research on coin and currency issues every once in a while, and stumbled across this: http://forum.autocareforum.com/showthread.php?p=12637 Apparently there is a rumor that, even though the U.S. Treasury website says that the $1 bill will not be redesigned, the rumor says it will, and the...

The $2 bill should be redesigned as soon as possible, and the title of this post should be the slogan for the new dollar coin promotion, coming up next month. (Even though the dollar coin, and $2 bill seem to be a losing team as of yet) Tom Vote Hussein, NOT (the new Bush) McCain

Anyone seeing WRME ads? by [email protected]
Is it just me, or has the World Reserve Monetary Exchange cut back on their advertising? I haven't seen an ad from them since April 6th. I'm not really complaining, but they were a convenient target for blogging ;) Les http://life-of-coins.blogspot.com/
