Have a laugh. by note.boy
Very high starting price, no mention of denomination or date but collectors will know anyway, outrageous postage charge, the seller's a lunatic. No prizes are offered for noticing the many goofs in the listing. Billy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180120827257

Looking at adding these to my collection. Would like for some direction. Would you only buy certified examples to eliminate buying a counterfiet? or are counterfeit notes not a concern?

Yet again. by note.boy
Bidders with extreme visual impairment buy on ebay. This seller has been on my "do not buy from" list for a long time, other members of the Banknote Society of Scotland have mentioned him to me as being on their list also, and this note illustrates very well...

UNC or not UNC by Darren
OK... as some of you know or might have guessed I'm new to this game. But I have a question / observation / thought to share. When looking for notes I see some value in a UNC note (not monetary - I mean I'm not investing... I'm collecting) since a UNC just looks, well, looks nice, feels nice etc....

2003 Deuces out in CHicago by TomDeLorey
Our own Dennis Forgue got some 2003 Minneapolis deuces here in Chicago Thursday, and spent one at a 7-11 going home that night just to see if the clerk would notice the date. The young lady behind the counter looked at it, held it up to the light, held it under some kind of lamp, and...
