New Information: Jersey 1813 Silver Tokens by
Harold Fears
All,
I have been doing some research into the Jersey 1813 3/- and 1/6 tokens
and wanted to correct a minor point. Most sources (including Pridmore and
McCammon) state that the States of Jersey on February 5, 1813 authorized
£10,000 worth of silver bullion be converted to three shillings and...

1953A series $2 bill Red seal by
[email protected]
http://www.bidville.com/listings/details/index_asp.asp?itemnum=10517559
Two dollar bill 1953A series paper money Red seal hardly used, just a
few folds and still very crisp. I'm not a coin or money dealer, just
selling for a lady, some of her estate items. This was listed before,
and there ended...

Questions for our U.K. members by
James Higby
How do collectors in the U.K. approach coin collecting? By country? By
type? By date? Eclectic? What grades? Collect U.S.? How popular is the
hobby?

Signs of a Shill? by
Ron
So, how can you tell that someone might be a shill? What might their
feedback lookl ke? Their history? What do you look for? Etc?
Won a coin today and am bummed out. Got bid up from $18 to my max bid
of $30 in the last hour or two. Probably wasn't a shill, just my bad
luck,

I am trying again to reduce my accumulation to manageable levels. I need
to, but listing and selling on eBay is time consuming, so I have a difficult
time making myself do this.
No reserve, 99 cent start, decent images, return policy.

2 Nice(Different) Finds Tonight by
[email protected]
Gotten from a roll of cents at a convenient store, a 1975 Lincoln with
a die stamp of the state of North Dakota above the date. Goes good with
the Illinois and the North Carolina cents I found last year. Also got a
1969 $5 Star note from Food Lion tonight. And it's in very nice
condition. Another...

Most Irritating as a buyer? (or seller?) by
R. Carvish
Everyone has their pet peeves, and I just wanted to know what other people
felt was annoying, and if anyone shared mine...
One of my past peeves (was very prevalent when surfing with no photo
graphics, due to Lynx) was finding coins had been overgraded in order to
encourage higher bids. Of course,...

No coins by
Dale Hallmark
What do you do when you actually have a few extra dollars to spend on a coin
or two but you examine eBay and
all your online sellers/dealers but can't find anything you especially want?
Nothing has that (got to have it)
appeal. Also your local dealer hasn't anything in stock
that excites you all...

FS: Italy 5 Lire from 1911 and 1914 by
Zevim
I have recently acquired two old coins from Italy, about the size of a
silver dollar, 5 Lire from 1911 and 1914. I would consider selling them for
the right opportunity. If you are interested I could send you close up
scans of these coins.

Will ebay reform before it's too late? by
Frank Provasek
There are so many fake rare coins on ebay, such as this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3955360534
Anyone familiar with US coins can see that the two "7"s in the date
are of the incorrect style.
But people are bidding on it!
But despite dozens of collectors spending hours of...

State Quarters question by
gogu
Hello all!
I have a question for our American friends.
Is there any difference between the P and the D State Quarter coins?
I already have the silver proof sets and I am thinking in collecting an UNC
series so I would like to know if there is any difference in strike, etc.
Thank you all!
