Anyone remember PiP SQUIRT pens from the 80's? Trying to find some info. by 427Cobra
Hi all, I couldn't believe there is no info on this "toy" pen anywhere on the net. I was cleaning out the ol' basement and found mine from ages ago. It's missing the cap and will need a refill, but it still squirts like it did when I was soaking my little sister and brother with it! :) It's not...

ARCAMAX Sheaffer Triumph Imperial arrived today by morten
Well, that $10 bargain arrived today. Nice pen. Nice colour. Quite good writer so far. But... it was advertised as a Triumph Imperial. To me, a Triumph means a nib that is, well, bent backwards at the tip. If so, this isn't a triumph. Nonetheless, this is a nice Sheaffer. And a heck of deal...

Archival gel ink for my Sensa Stylist? by Mike Shea
Today I picked up a Sensa Stylist pen, a large ergonomic heavy pen. I am quite happy with it, but one of the things I wanted to check on was the "Archival" quality of the Parker gel refills I am using with it. I understand that the Pilot Dr. Grip style rollerball ink is "archival quality" even...

Archive with Graphite? by Jason McDingleberry
How well does graphite on paper age? If it isn't rubbed and just sits in a cintainer with nothing smearing the surface will it be OK? I'm putting something in a time capsule, the note must be handwritten and placed between two panes of glass with 1/8" (3mm) space.

Are there fake Caran D'ache pens out there by whoisit
Hi I'm thinking of buying a Caran D'ache Ivanhoe FP and am seeing some attractive prices on the net - almost too attractive. Has anyone seen fakes of this model on the net? Also, anyone know where to get converters for them (by mail)? bp

Armstom, something else to think about by JCC
check out the return options with the place from which you buy your pen. modern FP's sometimes come with problems. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean all the time, but a place like Staples will replace a pen without blinking an eye and so in one day you could easily check to see if the problem is...

Article in Stylophiles by William Lee
Got my first copy of Stylophiles today. There was an article about Father Terry in it. It was interesting to learn that Father Terry (a well known pen repairman) was not a pen collector. The article said Father Terry had three Rotring Cores that he thought were "nice writers". It is noteable that...
