Scottish note A/1 prefix by note.boy
This note sold very well at £44, it's the first date and prefix for the type but that's still a high price. Billy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3950982379

2003 $2 BEP Matched sets - S/N 00000001 by Dan
Apparently the BEP is going to draw a name from the names of everyone who bought a $2 2003 matched set on the first day they were issued and offer that person the opportunity to buy the set with Serial Number 1 for the same price as the other sets ($495). Does anybody know if this has happened yet?

5 US$: Stacked before ink was dry by Christian Zietz
Hi, I found a 5 US-Dollar note (1995 series) which was obviously stacked before the ink of the note above it was dry because it has a partial mirror-inverted imprint of the back side of another $5 note on its face side. For example the word "five" (from the lower left corner of the back) can be...

2001 Star Note Question (error?) by Ken K.
x-no archive: yes I recently found a circulating star note that jumped out at me. It is a Series 2001 Marin/O'Neill. Serial # L 03103883*. It's FW H 69. The green Treasury seal is "off center" from where it usually is. Instead of being in the middle of the "N" in "ONE," its is all the way...

Best cheap sites..... by Jim Wild
Thats my question. Tom Chao's is good. Great for the medium priced collector. I want to know if anyone knows of an inexpensive site that favors $1.00-$3.00 type of stuff. In this case, the incorrect answer would be ebay. But if anyone knows one, fill me in. I'm just looking for colorful and/or...

Grading on eBay by Gene
Well, after 6+ years, I still laugh at the grading and the use of the word "Rare" on eBay. There is one asshole from Tappahanock, Virginia who calls Every single note he lists, even ragged CSA issues that would be worth less than $10 retail, "Rare". Knowingly telling a baldface LIE to induce...

Someone found a 1988A B..L web in a circulated strap of $1's... by Nicholas Cheung
and that was only a few days ago. From what I've heard, this bill is quite worn, about VG condition or so. Still, it pays to keep an eye on every bill being circulated. Nicholas To reply by e-mail, use goldeneye at verizon dot net.

New phone book,, AKA... by Jim Wild
My Standard catalog of paper money arrived today. I'd put this thing up against a metropolitan phone book any day. However, I was disappointed to find it was not in color. It still serves most of the purpose though. As a starter on paper money, I went into it blindly and bought everything on ebay...
