SLQ question by
JOPN

listed on the slab (I realize it's somewhat a matter of judgement)? How about
other "reputable" grading services? Obviously these coins deserve a premium but
after all FSB designation, as I...

also, a customer brought in some wheat cents, knowing I collect them. I

OT Ping: Doris by
Steve Joyce
Cliff, when WebTV gets enough complaints about a particular ISP spamming
its members, it blocks that ISP for a while. My sister used to have
Bellsouth and she was blocked several times for up to 2 weeks.

This guy put a lot into his description.

I would think for $1,700 he would have been a little more enthusiastic.

Got a laugh out of this by
Paul
The first lines in a news article:
Want to make a coin disappear? The U.S. Mint knows how, and you don't even
have to be a magician. Just produce and mete out 850 million of the cute,
little Sacagawea gold dollar coins, flashy as 14-carat gold, while the
ever-convenient dollar bill remains in...

Unknown coin found in arcade machine. What is it? by
Andromodon
I found a curious looking coin today when I freed it from a jammed
arcade machine. It's probably not worth much, and more than likely is
still in circulation, but it is engraved in some eastern language that
I don't understand. I looked around the internet trying to identify
it, but didn't have...

Last gasp for silver dollar slots by
Steven Preston
While this may be of limited utility, those nearby may be interested to
know that there are still slot machines in Nevada that pay out in silver
dollars. In Reno, at the CalNeva there were two such machines (both
accept quarters for play), one which paid out in silver eagles and one
which paid out...
