Summer Swap gift received! by
Amistad
The first of my swaps arrived in today's mail. Mark Cooper sent me a nice
1899-O (Micro O) Morgan which is a VAM 31 example. Also a Draped Bust Cent
that is holed and the only portion of the date that I can make out is a
zero. Lady Liberty appears to be somewhat tired, as she has no doubt...

Thanks Ed Hendricks! by
MJKolodziej
Books arrived today. Thanks so much.
I think you've cost lots of sleep reading those books, and probably lots of
money buying coins too!
:)
Thanks again Ed,
Mike Kolodziej

Coin stores with tokens in West Orange, NJ? by
forrest
I will be visiting family in West Orange, NJ next month, and I'd like
advice on good coins stores in the area. I am particularly interested
in tokens or good "junk boxes" but I would be interested in any
recommendations.

Heritage sent me an absolutely massive catalog for Pittsburgh. Little do
they know, there's not a single coin in there that I can afford.
Suckers!

Odd denominations rock. I love 2c, 3c, and 20c coins. The fact that n3c
can be had cheap is just...

Naw, I always try everything new in 3's before making a decision (except
broccoli, I only needed once for that) so I'll give it another shot next
weekend and see what happens.

What will this customer bring in today??? by
Wes Chormicle
An older gentleman calls me last night from a small town about 40 miles from
here. He says he has a set of gold coins that he wants to sell. Tells me
that they've been in the family for a long time (don't know how long). Says
they're in a wooden display box, 12 coins total. He says their are a...

10 cent listing day May 9th by
bgg
Just listed some silver eagle rolls, and noticed that eBay only charged
10 cents per auction. I double checked, and sure enough today is a 10
cent listing today. I made my auctions 5 day auctions so that they end
on a Sunday.

Change Find 03SEP2003 by
\Bo\ Mathews
1944P war nickel - very tarnished, but still F12 or better - the reverse
still has an amazing amount of detail for a circulated nickel!
Hope all of you make a good find this week!
Take Care,
