Weird... an unpaid item dispute by PC[_2_]
A seller whom I bought a coin from opened an unpaid item dispute on me today... and I paid via PayPal two weeks ago. Maybe he mistook me for someone else or clicked on the wrong auction. I am sure it will get sorted out but that is weird.

Spending a Kennedy half... by [email protected]
I was at my doctor's office, giving them my co-pay, and the receptionist tells me there is $1.08 that I need to pay as well. I give her an additional dollar bill and a Kennedy half (having recently obtained a roll from the bank). She didn't have any change from the office, but instead dug out 50...

2007 Madison Proof with Measles?!! by bluemagic
I received a 2007 Silver Proof Set and a 2007 Presidential $1 Proof Set today. Upon inspecting the presidential set, I noticed that the Madison dollar had reddish dots on the cheeks, forehead, and hair! It looks like he has the measles!! The reverse is pristine, as are all of the other coins. ...

Another Swap Completed by Bruce Remick
I received my potpourri swap today from Terry S. A nice high grade type set of Philippine coins from the early 1900's-- 1/2 centavo through a great-looking silver 1903-S 1 peso. The only example from this pre-WW I (under US sovereignty) series I already had was a 1/2 centavo, so this set gave...

eBay over the Holidays by R. Carvish
I've heard many people say that the holidays are not a good time to auction because people are away, Christmas shopping, broke from the aftermath, etc etc. I must say though, it's definitely a good time to bid... I don't bid on anything really expensive, but out of something like 25 auctions, I...

What's so special about an 1879 penny? by Skallsen
