1913-S/D Buffalo Nickel Type 2, Possible die error by
[email protected]
The coin isn't in the best condition however the 1913 is clear. It is
also clear that it is Type 2 (hard line under buffalo) and that it is
either S/D. After looking at other coins it is crystal clear to me
that this coin is special. Over half of the coin (about 10 o'clock to
4 o'clock) their is...

1917 Scottish square £1 by
note.boy
A bit rough on the back but it sold for £185, the seller must have been
very happy.
It may have spent a long time folded inside a wallet that has protected
the front.

A few more prices as high as this one and I suspect that...

We just received a 1917 Two Dollar Bill and was wondering if they are
worth anything other than two dollars. It is larger than the current
two dollar bills.

1923 Large Note by
[email protected]
I know this isn't really nice to ask a question the first time on the
board, but I have one to ask. I have a 1923 $1.00 Large Note (Red
Seal) with Speelman/White signatures. The note is in what I would
call AU but it does have folds in it. No pin holes, tears, etc. Can
anybody out there help...

1923 Silver Certificate value? by
Amy
I am a trust officer with a $1 silver certificate found in an estate
which I need to value.
It is a little wrinkled but no tears. It says Series of 1923 and is
signed by Woods and White. The serial number starts with A and ends
with E. What is its estimated value.

1928 $1 Silver certificate - red seal by
angel toledo
I have a $1 silver certificate from 1928. I checked a couple of places
online and noticed that the 1928 $1 bill should have a blue seal. Mine
has a red seal. The year is 1928 plain (not 1928A or 1928B, etc.)
Anyone have any idea on its worth?
Thank You

1928 Specimens? by
Anonymous Joe
Trying to find out what a $5,000 FRN 1928 series looked like, and came
across
http://www.coinsite.com/content/coinpics/Specimen5000.asp
Noticed the site said it was a specimen note. The serial is unique,
*00000000*, but I would've though that somewhere on the note it would say
SPECIMEN, similar...

1929 Atlanta Georgia $5.00 National Currency F/VF
FYI to seller. The note you are selling is not actually "National Currency". It is a
"Federal Reserve Bank Note". These were Roosevelt's effort to get cash moving in the
economy and were printed on the readily available on blank unissued...

1934 $1000 & $500 Bills by
sgoudy
My mother-in-law just passed away. I was cleaning out an out money bag and
found 5 $1000 bills and 4 $500 bills from 1934. I heard this was the best
way to find an approximate valve. They are very good shape. I collect
sports cards and would grade them near mint in the sport card grading...
