wondering whether these'll ever be worth anything... by
Patrick Yu
Hello,
I was cleaning out my room today and found a bunch of unused bills of
all denominiations from the mid 90s or so. Just wondering how long
it'll be before these are worth anything... should I just spend them?
Thanks,
Patrick

note.boy
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=67207&item=3936218314&rd=1
It wont get a bid because,
1. His feedback is private.
2. His feedback is 97%.
3. He charges £1.75 for first class postage which will cost him 28p.

Will the U.S. ever phase out the $1 Bill? by
Drago the Wolf
Has anyone heard any news on when or if the $1 bill may be replaced
by
the $1 coin?
The BEP has told me that the Treasury has stated several times that
"the $1 note and $1 coin will co-exist" yet Fred Shecter told me that
there should possibly be a $1 bill phase-out in plan, for possibly
2010.

Will he get a profit? by
note.boy
This note was bought for £200 at the Spink auction mentioned in the listing,
it's now at £100 with 3 hours to go, will it sell for more than £200?
I don't think so.
Does he hold the record for adding information? ...

Why.. by
John III
Do tellers hate $2 bills? You can count them twice as fast as singles. The
reason I ask is I went into my regular bank the other day and asked for some
2's. (still trying to complete that 1976 series reserve bank set) Anyhow, as
I took the $78 worth she had she was soooo happy to be getting rid of...

Why work? Make easy money! by
Goldfish
I've seen these posts around for a while now.
The first thought is: "This is too easy to be true"
Maybe it is. But hey, for 6 dollars and a few stamps,
there's not much at risk, but a heck of a lot to gain.
I don't intend to spam, I chose the newsgroups carefully.
If you don't want to read this,...

Why was the obverse of the US $1 FRN redesigned in 1963? by
[email protected]
I can appreciate how the one dollar note has followed a distinct path
starting with the series of 1935 with the introduction of the smaller
features that didn't follow for other denominations until 1950 (for
FRN's) or 1953 (silver certificates and legal tenders). One thing that
has bothered me is...

Why list so many. by
note.boy
Why list so many of the same note starting below face, they will make
something from the postage charge, but they are going to get £9.99 for each
note that they sell, so why bother?
They also appear to have photographed each note individually, not necessary
if selling consecutive unc notesof...

Why did they make the large size U.S. currency? by
Warren and Paula Jo Merrill
One thing that I have never heard an explanation for. I have one piece of
colonial currency and it is a smaller size. Why did they start making the
larger 'horseblanket' notes after that instead of keeping the size small?
