Italian perfin - info please. by
Tony Vella
I have an 1897 Italy 5 centesimi green with B.N. (sans-serif) perfinned on
it. First time I saw it I assumed it was a Banca Nazionale perfin, however

Soaking Self Adhesieve by
Ralphael1
I had access to a large number of stamps from a local tax collector.

stamps:
Soak in warm water....do not rush. If the stamps do not come off
easily, do not...

perforating equipment and how it works? I have always been curious how
it worked and yet have never seen any pictures or the like of hte process.
Thanks

Has Zorro been in town?
The Catalogue references odd stamps
with this mark on the back, but no why's and wherefore's.
Any links with information on these? will they wash off with the gum?

I am about 3 stamps short of the entire collection
of 65 issues (that were not overprinted)
In the 40f olive, this stamps seems to be the only
one with the value tablet printed in a colour other than
the colour of the stamp (black-olive) indicating a two pass
print regime.
I just wonder if it's...
