Any value above silver? by
Stardancer
Howdy;
I came across this in an accumulation I bought a while ago and was
wondering if there is any value above bullion. Also, if anyone can
identify when it was likely issued.
My THANKS
Dan

Another contemporary counterfeit. by
note.boy
An astronomical price, it's also an error coin so that may explain it, if
prices continue at this level I'll be tempted to sell some of mine. Billy

Why doesn't "Nic a date" restore dates permenantly??? by
The Space Boss
I've been googleing "nic a date" posts, and from what I can tell, the
date appears on the nickel when you put a drop on there but it's only
temporary and the date vanishes again after a while, after you wash the
drop off.
This is too bad. Does anybody have any methods of making the date...

Nickels and Dimes by
Jon
Hello,
A friend asked me to evaluate some coins from his dad. So I buy
a 2007 redbook and Making the Grade, a picture guide to grading coins.
These are coins from approx 1883 to present and most all are in albums.
Some of these coins, if they were in nice condition, would be of
considerable value....

Rim Nicks by

Just now happened across a coin whose description caught my eye. I can't
say that I previously knew of any coin grading regimen that allows for rim
nicks being commensurate with the grade. Have a...

Ben Franklin C&C is a beautiful piece of work by

Kudos to The Mint and the other gubmint agencies involved. This set is
really the nicest of all the "coin and " sets I've seen yet.
Beautifully presented and put together - looking through the reproduction of
Poor Richard's Almanack is really a gas. I only ordered one, got it today,
after an...

economy mail from overseas by
Dale Hallmark
I won a reference book from a French seller on eBay and I paid $13 for
shipping.
I was emailed when the item was sent and told that it would arrive in 7-10
days.
I gave up on ever getting that item a LONG time ago but believed the seller
really did send it so I left no feedback
good or bad. That...

Hey all. Just wondering what the word was. I'm online fulltime now and
haven't heard much except Whitman might be taking it over. Are they
honoring our pre-release purchases? Thanks

Contemporary counterfeit. by
note.boy
It's a rare one all right but the price was surprisingly high as it's a bit
on the rough side. Billy
