Having too many pens is just distracting by
[email protected]
It hit me today that the more pens I had the less I wrote. I keep
changing pens and thinking more about them that what I write. I also
keep getting the urge to go on ebay and order one more or two. I'll
have to put an end to this, and just stick to one, *no* more than one,
and perhaps even a...

Something odd happening with some ink mixtures by
KCat
I haven't tried those particular mixes. I've done a couple of mixes with
Noodler's and other brands and had no problems.
However, I have had problems with Sheaffer NOS red in mixes. An orange
precip formed. This was consistent with various mixes - i don't believe I
ever mixed it with a...

Pilot Knight Collection by
JChapman
Has anyone seen these pens in person yet? Also, since Pilot is now
branding $45 fountain pens with their name, does this mean we'll be
able to find them at Walmart? Any opinions are welcome!
Pilot's own web site (USA) currently only shows this "Knight
Collection" in their image gallery. Also found...

Bic makes a fountain pen! by
[email protected]
I was a little surprised today at the sight of a Bic(!) fountain pen I
saw in a store. It's a rather small pen with translucent blue plastic,
it takes one or two standard international cartridges back-to-back, has
an ergonomic triangular section with rubber dots, and said to have an
iridium tip....

I adore the manuscript school fountain pen by
[email protected]
It's the least expensive fountain pen I got, it only costs =A30.99 new,
and that's with 2 standard ink cartridges!
It's now the one I use the most, since it's the least expensive one,
and the reason is simply this; I doodle with it!
Yes, before I write anything, with a more expensive pen, I like...

What's a good posture to write in bed, or in the park? by
[email protected]
I'm having a little difficulty finding a comfortable posture that would
enable me to write for extended periods without experiencing
musculoskeletal fatigue, which has limited my last two writing
sessions.
I'm aware that it's probably healthy to change posture often, yet
still. I'll probably take...

"Tuff" Pens made in France by
Virtual Gordon
Several people have made reference to "Tuff" pens from France. I am unable
to locate any information on this brand. Does anyone know of an Internet
outlet or a USA retailer?
Thanks,

Sheaffer Roller balls by
John Horobin
Just tried a Sheaffer rollerball (prelude). While I much prefer a foundtain
pen the quality seems much better than the Parker versions. Any thoughts
from anybody on the best rollerballs?

Contest. Help add to my collection. I collect and have many fine
plain page journals, as well as fountain pens, but don't write in most
until I can find a valid use for them. So I have dedicated one fine
book to record my collection of a lifetime,, up til now just in my
memory. But I can't...

Noodler's Legal Black by
J. L. Jones
I notice it's not listed now. I believe it was the first
"really permanent" Noodler's ink. How does it compare to the
newer Noodler's blacks? (I've got two unopened bottles)
Thanks,
Larry Jones

As I am pretty new to this whole world I am hoping somebody can help
me. My boyfriend bought this Cross fountain pen years ago at one of the
big office supply stores, but has long since lost any box or paperwork
that came with it. Can anybody look at these pictures and let us...
