what would YOU pay for NGC multi-holder? by
Nooker
Since NGC is dragging their feet about the details of having your coins
placed in their new multi-holder, I thought I would ask RCC'ers what their
thoughts are. I'm strictly looking for opinions about the cost of the
multi-holder idea, so whether you like it or not is really not the issue.

Cubs vs White Sox Commemerative by
Pope
I've seen this touched on in other threads. How about a commemerative
coin issued for the Cubs vs White Sox world series? We could use the
proceeds for something really constructive, like sending George Jr to
look for his own damned weapons of NUCULAR destruction. I figure it
would save us about 87...

The most Valueable Penny by
ADM
You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the
sidewalk being good
luck, gifts from angels, etc. This is the first time
I've ever heard this
twist on the story. Gives you something to think
about.
Several years ago, a friend of mine and her husband
were invited to spend

FA: Not quite O/T by

As a lurker for the past 4 months I hate to surface in this
manner----I'll be back soon with a proper introduction. Meanwhile,
I'm liquidating my collection of vintage coin banks issued by banks.
The following is a model os the San Francisco Mint, so I thot it
proper to bring to the attention of...

2003 Half bags are gone... by
Jim Seymour
Well, I waited too long, it seems... The 2003 Kennedy Half bags are no longer
available from the mint.
Would anyone who picked one of these up be willing to swap a 1/2 bag for a 1/2
bag of 2002's?

NY State Qtrs by
Grandpa
As I was inserting my Missouri quarters into their holders last night I
noted what appeared to be a slight golden sheen on my NY P qtr. I
looked at it closely then at the other NY's I have and all the P's seem
to have this. Kinda wierd - anyone else note this perchance? I don't
see it on any...

Question concerning Mint Rolls by
Jeffrey Roll
I'm looking to keep several rolls of Sacagaweas around for a few years and
was wondering what the best method of storage is to retain the resale value
of the coins. Is it better to leave coins in the mint roll or should they be
gently placed in a plastica airtight container and the mint roll...

PCGS holders by
John Carney
I recently purchased this Arkansas Commem. I know it's an older PCGS holder from the '80s,
but I'm not sure if it's the first or second generation holder. It's slightly smaller than
the current holder's size. Any help would be appreciated.

Had a good ILNA show. by
Josh Moran
Might this have been the dealer that you, Dondi, alerted me to at the MidAm
show near OHare Airport in late June? That dealer was from Ohio, and his
inventory was evenly divided between regular ACG slabs and ACG slabs with his
company name: "CCC". (for Coins, Cards, and Currency). This...

classic commem collectors - beware by
Bill Krummel
Dang. Darn. It must be nice to have lots of money.
I was surfing eBay for a nice Arkansas commemorative half of any date and mm
that I didn't have (which is most, I only have one). I kept seeing one
bidder popping up, so out of curiousity, I did a search of this bidder, only
on auctions that...

What Is It About Lincoln Cents From The Sixties? by
MIckey
Have any of you noticed how good Lincolns from the 1960s look? When
searching through them and laying them out by decades, the ones from
the sixties somehow stand out and Abe looks like he can jump off the
coin and make a speech. I find that if I have a pile of Lincolns on
the table, I can spot...
