i have found no modern nib as capable of very substantial line variation as those of "montegrappa" (despite their being 18k), not even the "falcon" from namiki. are there any other modern pens you know of with substantial flex? --

Hello all, During a bit of tidy up at home I've unearthed a boxed set of 8 Rotring Varient draughting pens. sizes 01.mm upto 1.2mm. I was a draughtsman back in the mid 80's which I probably the last time these were used.

IIRC this is "bulletproof" and not "eternal" ink. Correct me, if I am wrong. They have difference: Both are water-resistant, but bulletproof inks can not not be removed from paper without damaging that paper. Here is what Nathan himself says about his "eternal"...
