"Wow." by
Jonny the 8-Tracker!
Yeah, this is great. The 8-track-collecting newsgroup is now just a
place for people of all kinds to yell. No 8-track discussion, except
Nudo and Bob beating each other over accusations of fraud. Maybe 150
posts a day, all sent to my quite-large AC8TT "archive" in GMail
without so much as a bother...

$25 Investment Yields Thousands by
George Torres
This is the only e-mail you will receive. I hope this is ok that I
send you this. If you aren't interested, just simply delete it.
READ THIS MESSAGE if you are like me and want more than your lousy
weekly paycheck. Make more in a few months than last year at work. Believe
it, work it.
This...

"Apollo 8" fakes by
DeserTBoB
I've come across an "Apollo 8" fake of a Bonnie Raitt album, "Street
Lights," which is one of those phonies that only Noodles could love!
On the track listing, in tiny print, is the disclaimer, "Apollo 8 is
an electronically-manufactured sound-alike made in the style of your
favorite artists by our...

"Charlie the Chicken****"...a coward by any other name by
DeserTBoB
Hey Noodles! You think that by deleting your stupid posts that
Google can't "see" them anymore? Guess again, moron...EVERYTHING
you've posted is in archives. They dig into those to find the deleted
posts, too.
Say bye bye to your precious four remaining accounts...Noodles. Also,
say bye bye...

"Cheneyburton" flees the country by
DeserTBoB
Halliburton, probably guilty of embezzlement of BILLIONS of taxpayer
dollars in the Iraq "war for oil" disaster that is now imploding,
announced Friday that it has decided to move to...where else...Dubai,
that Texan-friendly, Republican-friendly emirate in the Middle East.
Remember, it was Dubai...

'Complete Victory'
December 1, 2005; Page A16
Our reading of history is that the American people will accept
casualties in a war, even heavy casualties, as long as they think their
leaders have a strategy to...

"Cruisin'" series on 8 track by
[email protected]
Hey Bob- a year ago you had asked if anyone had the "Cruisin'" series?
I have 7 or 8 of them. They ran from '55 to '70. The sound quality
was actually pretty damn good (for a broadcast from am radio). They
are also on CD. The 1962 tape is my favorite: "But I Do" by Clarence
'Frogman' Henry and...

"Foleygate" not going away, despite "Koreaspin" by
DeserTBoB
Looks like Rove's tactic of trying to distract Congress and the media
off of "Foleygate" and onto Kim Jong Il is blowing up in his and his
boss' face. House Ethics hearings on "Foleygate" are starting up this
week, with TV cameras abounding in the hearing room, despite efforts
by Hastert's minions...

"Frontier" has "zero tolerance" for spam by
DeserTBoB
According to the note I got back from Noodles' ISP, Frontier (formerly
Epix) they now have a "zero tolerance" policy for e-mail and Usenet
spam and "will investigate fully and take appropriate action against
any Frontier/Epix customer engaging in such activities."
Looks like you'll have to start...

"Futile efforts," indeed by
DeserTBoB
Hey Noodles! Try explaining to the nice people how efforts that have
successfully clobbered 26 (and rising) of your Google Groups
spam accounts somehow are "futile"...or is that just another one of
your many paranoid delusional fantasies?
