John III
http://www.sit.wisc.edu/~dmoffitt/serials/03_b.html
Going by this link...Does this mean that there has only been 3,200,000 $2
bills printed up until August, and they are all star notes?
I thought star notes were replacement notes? Do they normally print them
first and use them as needed to...

Got A Counterfeit At The Bank by
scottishmoney
This morning I went to the bank and made the weekly withdrawl. One of the
$100's just didn't quite look right the ink was a bit off. I looked at it up
against the overhead light, and sure enough, it was Abraham Lincoln's
watermark, not Ben Franklin's.
Someone had apparently bleached a $5 and...

James Island Note? by
Steven
Hello,
Recently I saw a couple of notes for sale in a local shop supposedly from
'James Island'. They looked like fake or fantasy notes to me since I can't
seem to find information in books or on internet, but does anybody know
them?
Thanks in advance,
Steven

Redesigning U.S. currency by
Jesse McKay
For cost reasons, the U.S. $1, $2 are not going to get the makeover the
other denominations have been getting for 10+ years, is the word on the
street.
I think that this idea is wrong. The one and two should also get the
makeover. That portrait of George Washington is getting a little...

Swissboy
Hi, I am just wondering why in the US bank machines do not give
$50.-- notes. It is such a pain to have all those twenty dollar
notes.
I just was in Canada and there taking $400,00 dollars from a cash
point I recieved fifty dollar notes. In Switzerland if you want
200,-- franken they give you two...

I have two books of uncirculated $2 bills (10 per book) from 1976 I

Question of ethics re scanning notes by
TomDeLorey
Was at the Baltimore show and had a contemporary counterfeit Confederate note.
labeled as such, in the case. Guy asked to see it, and after looking at it
whipped out a scanner of some kind and began taking pictures of it for his
personal information.
..
The question is, is it or is it not ethical...

$100,000 1934 Gold Certificate by
S. Freud
A friend of a friend found a crashed plane in the jungles where he
lives, not in America. In the plane he found several $100,000 bills.
He described them and they sound like it's for real. Now I figure they
must be real, as it was illegal to posses these so why would you want
to counterfeit these....
