Isn't it easier just to have the open NNTP proxies that he is using shutdown
(I received a message saying one of the latest is on its way out .. re

Yeah, I thought the same thing...what if this isn't the correct guy? or if
this is just another spammer with a personal issue with this accused person.
I agree, shutdown all of the open proxies and relays and boycott the ISP's
that run them. Then, they will learn to clean up their own mess or go out of
business.

This guy below has spammed every newsgroup with this material that I have
gone to. It's definitely fishy, and possibly criminal harassment against the
fellow named in the message. I wouldn't go near it.

Even if Steve Repsis is a spammer, there's no guarantee that the info
supplied is accurate instead of that of someone that the OTHER spammer wants
harassed.

The info was correct, those spams are from Steve Repsis and that was his
information. Back when I had more free time, I used to maintain a website
that tracked him and all of his websites that he spammed for and ISPs and
open relays that he abused. He is a true scumbag, and has been the sole
source to many ISPs getting the UDP (Usenet Death Penalty) enacted on them.
