To make it easier for people to find or ignore certain types of postings
(depending on their interests), please prefix the subject line with one of
the following, as specified in the charter for
rec.collecting.stamps.marketplace:
- "FS:" - for sale
- "FA:" - for auction
- "FT:" - for trade
- "WTB:" - want to buy
- "BD:" - bad dealer notice
- "BC:" - bad customer notice
- other prefixes as necessary and agreed upon by the readers.
For example:
FS: British Commonwealth 1900-1940
WTB: Finland classics
Many newsreader programs have "auto-kill" and "auto-select" features which
allow users to select or hide articles automatically if their subjects
contain certain strings of characters. These features work best if
everyone uses these prefixes in the same way.
